In short?… it’s now based on the # of objects & metrics VCF Operations is keeping track of.

With VCF 9, Data Services Manager is integrated with VCF Automation.
You get D PostgreSQL & MySQL (Microsoft SQL still in preview) as a Service.
Yes it is an Advanced Service (additional licensing)….but automating self-service databases consumption is becoming the norm.

VxRail – now with VCF
VxRail was specifically excluded from VCF 9.
With VCF 9.1, there is a single VCF release that supports VxRail.
They are now treated as vSAN Ready Nodes.
To me, it sounds like VxRail.next is the HSM for VxRail nodes.
