More confusion around Aria Operations Management Packs…
I posted a couple weeks ago about the end of many management packs for Aria Operations (vROPs).
they released a Management Pack creator OVA, where you were suppose to create your own Management Packs….

Replacing SSL certs on ESXi and vCenter
Haven’t manually replaced an ESXi server cert since vSphere 6 was released, as the vCenter’s CA handles that for me.
Saw this post for ESXi, & remembered it used to be quite a bit of effort to do this.
Didn’t try it, but it looks right.
They also had one for replacing the vCenter Machine SSL Cert.
Followed along, and it was spot on (using vCenter 8.0 U2A).

There are quite a few things in this release that are huge….
AI-powered built-in Malware Detection Engine, protection against accidental or malicious deletion or encryption of backups, & pinpointing identified ransomware strains to prevent reinfection are among the many new features.
