vSphere with Tanzu – problems with .local LDAP
It’s not with VMware or Tanzu, it is an issue with anything using
systemd-resolved service.
News to me, but I’m very glad I use different domain names than .local.
VMware KB 83387 is here, detailing the issue & workaround, but ONLY for labs & proof of concept environments.
…I can still see some large enterprises that still have their AD domain named .local from 20+ years ago running into issues like this….

Nutanix AOS 6.1
Some pretty cool items here, but his is about node removal.
You may not do this often on-prem, but doing it in the Public Cloud (Nutanix Clusters), you may have a need to quickly retire nodes.
Still, it will be nice for on-prem once every 3 or 4 years as well.
