VMware vSphere 6.5.0 Update 3 released
For those of you still running 6.5, U3 has been released.
vCenter and ESXi installation media is available.

VMware View 7.9 released
Part of a big release week, View got updated to 7.9.
updates to the supported Win10 versions are part of it.
The HTML-5 interface added quite a few features that are in the old FlexClient (the Adobe Flash client).
Clients have been updated.
With View 7.9 and Client 5.1, you will be able to use USB fingerprint readers in the VDI session….still looking to see what limitations exist using it this way, as I am aware of someone with the need to do this….

VMware App Volumes 2.17.0 released
Part of a big release week, App Volumes got updated to 2.17.0.
Support for Win10 1903 arrives.
SQL communication now uses TLS 1.2.

VMware User Environment Manager 9.8.0 released
Part of a big release week, UEM got updated to 9.8.0.
Looks like a minor update.

VMware Unified Access Gateway 3.6 released
Part of a big release week, UAG got updated to 3.6.
Looks like they are adding SEG (Secure Email Gateway), support for RADIUS on class attribute, and a few other features.

Pure Storage HTML-5 vSphere Client Plugin
This is something I can appreciate.
Getting LUNs deployed within the vSphere Client, present to a specific cluster (host groups), format with VMFS, create snapshots, protection groups, replication, and so on…..
Cody Hosterman (who else) has a great writeup of the configuration process here, that all Pure users will get with the 4.0.0 release

Raspberry Pi 4
This was announce last week, and seems to be on everyone’s conversation list.
From the multiple sites I’ve read, looks like they will start shipping 7/19.
