vSphere LCM with HPE iLO Amplifier
When vSphere 7 was released, I was having issues connecting & configuring the HPE iLO Amplifier to work with the vLCM feature.
Turns out, the version 1.55 I had available did not support this, and when version 1.60 got released, that allowed iLO Amplifier to actually integrate with vLCM.
VMware Blog post here, covers what this is supposed to do, and a couple of quirks that currently exist.
This solution requires HPE iLO Licenses.
You can use Self-Signed certs, but need to add them to the vCenter via CLI.
No word yet on whether or not OneView could be used instead of iLO Amplifier.

HPE SimpliVity – One-Click Upgrades
Once you have updated your SimpliVity cluster to 3.7.9, you can do a one-click upgrade.
Found an example posted online here, covering the process.

SAP HANA validated for vSphere
Not everyone runs SAP, so why include this?
This is just a blog post, announcing the support/validation of SAP HANA on vSphere environments,….but look at how long this is!
It just goes to show you that design & validation go a long way when you build a solution….performance, availability, sizing, & reference documentation….

I like this post from Josh Odgers, as it answers some of the DellEMC points that are shared….gives a better insight into those specific questions, and how Nutanix actually handles its rebuilds.

Not just the basic AWS or ESXi to AHV post.
Oracle, Solaris, listing of free & paid for tools, handling of different SCSI controllers, ….even P2V discussions.
