Nutanix – to LACP or not…
At the end of it all….no….do not use LACP.
There are a VERY few use cases where I can see it required.
2 x 10-GbE NICs in an LACP does NOT equal 20-GbE of bandwidth….
That is 10-GbE of REDUNDANT bandwidth per host.
Even Nutanix recommends this configuration (as do I in any VMware installs as well).
Check out the Nutanix online documentation stating so….
RECOMMENDED: Active/Backup (no LACP, no fancy switch config required).
The redundancy is there….
